I am a huge nerd, down to earth, traveling is life, girls are secondary, and my friends are my family. The Early November - Acoustic EP (blue/bronze swirl with bone splatter /200)

They say good things come to those who wait, and in this case the saying is completely true. I had missed out on this wonderful EP during the original release from “Enjoy The Ride Records” and couldn’t find it for less than $50, anywhere, after it was sold out. Thankfully modern-vinyl.com was running a contest a week or so ago, and I won! So as of right now this completes my TEN collection and I am stoked about that.

“The Acoustic EP” proves that ace enders and company can really do anything within their genre and make the product sound terrific, taking a few harder tracks and completely stripping them down into beautiful acoustic renditions, and releasing it was a brave act at the time of its original release. This is a perfect record to spin when I want my TEN fix but I’m not in the mood to “rock the fuck out.” Hopefully one day ETR will re-press this so all that don’t have it can enjoy it on one of the best formats. As cliche as it sounds, everything just pops when played on wax and this record is no different.

Just so everyone knows, I am moving across the country in a three weeks and won’t be able to do my normal updates for a while. I am trying to come up with something to hold you over so this blog isn’t completely dead during my move. Enjoy your monday, everyone!
